Great hotel, spacious rooms, clean and quiet. Great location Breakfast is good and with a lot of variety. Dinner service however was less than average with Costco type food on your plate. Doesn't look like the food is prepared from fresh ingredients.
We love the Phelps. They have a really considerate staff. The location is perfect. In the spring and summer there’s a very nice rooftop bar. The bar in the lounge is a nice hangout before the night caps. You get free breakfast the next morning. Parking is available in the street or they have valet. We’ll always be back.
this hotel was AMAZING! the staff were so incredible and friendly, breakfast was delicious, and everything was super clean. highly recommend, especially for the price!!!
Nice place to stay. We were on the top floor with a nice view of the riverfront. The parking isn't fun but you have to expect that from a place downtown. Valet is your friend.
Stayed with the family for a week. The service was absolutely fantastic!! Not a bad thing to say about the service. We had the one bedroom suite. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The kitchen was an added bonus. The room was large and very clean. The amenities (breakfast, gym, restaurant, rooftop bar) were exceptional. A definite recommendation. Close to everything downtown Cincinnati. And you must check out the rooftop bar. Check out the photos!
This is our "Go To" place when we visit Cinci. Yes, the location is great and the price is right, but the biggest draw is the staff. You literally feel like you are home; you are very well taken care of. On our current stay, Manager Tim and Lisa helped me find my shirt and shaving kit which I had left behind on my previous visit. And all of the guest in the dinning room this morning were praising Karrie's grits which several said were the best they ever had - and they knew grits! I know this review sound hyperbolic, but is it is true. Really feels like home when you are here.
This was fine for our 2 night stay in Cincinnati. We were in town for the Bengals open practice. We were easily able to walk to the stadium as well as over the purple people bridge into Newport. It was about a 20 minute to both places. The rooms were clean. They certainly could use a good deep cleaning, but I have pretty high standards for clean and they were pretty good. Check in and check out was extremely easy and quick. There was some miscommunication about a rollaway bed, but it was rectified quick. Breakfast was wonderful. We did not use the Valet service and were still easily able to unload and load our luggage quick and find parking. Beds are more on the firmer side and the pillows are very thin but soft. Staff was friendly. Overall we had a great weekend!
Stayed there about a week ago. The rooms are nice and clean. The service was amazing. Jocelyn at the front desk was so nice, professional, and helpful. Give that woman a raise! She went above and beyond what I was expecting.
